Numerous diverse sources of labor law impact contents of employment relations, including common sources such as legal acts issued by state administrative authorities and bodies with which all employers are obligated to comply as well as specific sources dedicated to individual groups, i.e. the so-called internal labor law sources.

The above include, inter alia:

  • collective labor agreements
  • work regulations the purpose of which is to organize work, set out rights and duties of the employer and employees. The duty to develop such regulations rests with the employer employing more than 20 employees
  • pay regulations regulating terms of pay. The duty to develop such regulations rests with the employer employing more than 20 employees
  • the Company Social Benefits Fund regulations which set out rules of managing the Social Fund resources. The duty to develop such regulations rests with the employer employing more than 20 employees
  • bonus regulations

Correctly and accurately developed regulations mean clear and consistent rules at the company. Precise rights and duties prevent employee’s postulates and frustration, prescribe standards and norms and protect the company against claims and, frequently, suits.
