Grant Thornton supported Energa Green Development Sp. z o.o. in the acquisition of a special purpose vehicle developing the PV Serby photovoltaic project with a capacity of 112 MW in Lower Silesia.
Grant Thornton provided financial and tax due diligence, advised on SPA negotiations, and supported the purchase price settlement.
Energa Green Development is part of the ORLEN Group and is responsible for the development of onshore renewable energy sources. Its portfolio includes greenfield photovoltaic projects at various stages of advancement with a total capacity exceeding 1 GW. Approximately 180 MW is planned to be implemented using a cable-pooling model, sharing grid connections with wind farms. According to ORLEN’s strategy, the Group aims to reach over 9 GW of renewable capacity by 2030.
