IRCA Group takes over the international school of culinary arts with the support of Grant Thornton advisors

We are pleased to announce another fruitfully concluded transaction - our advisors provided the support to Italian IRCA Group (being a worldwide lead producer of chocolate, creams and other high quality food ingredients) in the process of acquiring 100% of the shares in the Polish company "ASHANTI ATELIER" Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością, running the culinary school.

Within the transaction, we have provided transactional legal support including conducting the legal due diligence and developing and negotiating complete transaction documentation, as well as financial and tax due diligence services.

ASHANTI is a culinary arts school located in Łódź (Poland). The school operates since 2017 and offers a wide range of culinary trainings and workshops (dedicated to pastry & bakery, ice creams, bartenders and baristas). The school conducted over 1000 courses completed by over 8000 students.

IRCA Group, active for over 100 years, provides chocolate, pastry, bakery and gelato ingredients. IRCA Group offers a wide range of products in over 100 countries both directly and via a network of wholesalers and distributors. IRCA Group employs over 2.000 people in Europe, the United States and Vietnam.
