About the webinar

With key Pillar 2 decisions being taken now and first reporting timelines approaching, multinational groups are entering the first phase of practical implementation and need to align their global approach with local Polish requirements.

In recent months, we have seen a significant increase in questions from international clients and global tax teams regarding the Polish framework – in particular how local requirements interact with group-level Pillar 2 processes, what needs to be reported in Poland, and when.

A key area of focus is also the possibility to voluntarily apply the Polish Pillar 2 regime already for 2024, including the implications of such a decision and how it interacts with financial reporting and group compliance.

This webinar is designed as a practical guide for global tax and finance teams coordinating Pillar 2 implementation across jurisdictions. We will focus on the key decisions to be taken, first reporting timelines, and areas where Polish-specific rules may require adjustments to existing group processes.

The webinar will be led by our speakers:

Tomasz Rolewicz, Partner – Grant Thornton Poland

Paweł Kwiecień, Supervisor – Grant Thornton Poland

After the webinar, participants will:
• understand how Polish Pillar 2 rules fit into the global framework,
• have clarity on local reporting obligations and first-year timelines,
• be able to align Polish requirements with group-level GIR processes,
• understand the implications of optional 2024 early adoption, and
• identify key areas requiring attention in the coming months.

This webinar is designed for:
• CFOs, Heads of Tax and Global Tax Managers responsible for Pillar Two implementation,
• International groups with subsidiaries or permanent establishments in Poland,
• Finance and tax teams coordinating Pillar Two reporting across jurisdictions.

The webinar will be held in English.

We look forward to your participation.
