The Sompolno project, comprising a 26 MW wind farm, a 10 MW solar farm, and a 3 MW energy storage facility, is the first licensed hybrid renewable energy project in Poland. The transaction was finalized after the project entered the operational phase and obtained a license for electricity generation.
It is worth noting that in July 2023, Energa Wytwarzanie signed preliminary agreements with Greenvolt Power for the acquisition of a portfolio of renewable energy projects in Poland, including the Sompolno hybrid installation and the Opalenica photovoltaic complex.
