We are proud to announce that Grant Thornton’s financial advisory team has been ranked 2nd in Poland by Mergermarket in terms of the number of completed mergers and acquisitions transactions in 2025. This result confirms Grant Thornton’s position as one of the most active M&A advisors in the Polish market in recent years.

Achieving 2nd place in Poland in 2025 is the result of the consistent efforts of the entire team, whose experience and commitment translate into tangible support for our Clients in successive transactions. It is also a clear sign of the trust placed in us by Clients – entrepreneurs and investors alike – when delivering the most demanding projects.

It is worth noting that in 2025, Grant Thornton experts from the M&A, Transaction Advisory Services (TAS), Legal Advisory and Corporate Finance teams were involved in nearly 40 completed M&A transactions with a total value of approximately PLN 3.7 billion, acting as transaction, financial, legal and tax advisors.

Our Deal Advisory experts support investors and entrepreneurs across a wide range of industries and sectors at every stage of the transaction process. In 2025, every third transaction completed by our Deal Advisory teams was related to the energy market, with the majority involving renewable energy sources (RES). Every fourth project concerned the manufacturing sector, while every fifth related to the technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) sector, including the IT market. In 14% of the projects we closed, we advised entities from the services sector.

This marks yet another year in which our experts have been ranked among the very top advisors in the market. Moreover, Grant Thornton also advanced to the podium across the CEE region, securing 3rd place overall.
