DUON Group completed a transaction representing another step in the implementation of its long term growth strategy. As part of the transaction, Prime Energy – a Wrocław based group of companies providing comprehensive power engineering services for commercial and industrial facilities – joined the DUON Group’s structure.
The transaction aligns with DUON Group’s strategic objective to expand its competencies in the electricity segment and to build an integrated offering covering the full energy value chain. Following the transaction, the Group’s capabilities now include energy audits and cost optimisation, design and construction of power infrastructure, turnkey project delivery, as well as electricity distribution and sales, complemented by ongoing service and maintenance.
The completed transaction strengthens DUON Group’s position as a provider of comprehensive energy solutions for business clients and supports the further development of its activities in the power engineering segment.
DUON Group operates in the energy market, focusing on the supply of network natural gas and liquefied natural gas (LNG), as well as on delivering comprehensive energy solutions for enterprises. DUON Dystrybucja sp. z o.o. owns and operates its own distribution infrastructure, including over 800 kilometres of gas pipelines, distribution networks connected to the national gas system and LNG based installations supplied by regasification stations. More than 11,000 customers are connected to DUON Dystrybucja’s infrastructure.
Prime Energy is a Wrocław based group of companies providing comprehensive services related to energy sector investments. The company operates its own design office, execution and service teams, as well as administrative and accounting support. Prime Energy delivers its services in the commercial real estate and industrial sectors, covering the full lifecycle of power engineering projects.
