This time our experts supported a shareholder of “MRC BROKER” Sp. z o. o. selling 100% of shares of this company to one of the Polish market leaders – Grupa Brokerska “Quantum” Sp. z o. o. The scope of Grant Thornton’s legal advisory included preparing of a share purchase agreement and accompanying transaction documentation, participation in negotiations and support in closing the transaction as well as transaction tax advisory.

The company also offers insurance audits, trainings and claim settlement services.
Grupa Brokerska “Quantum” Sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Łódź provides brokerage services by acting as an intermediary in conclusion of insurance agreements covering various types of risks, e.g. for clients from the pharmaceutical, transport, IT and food industries.
The transaction is an element of the investor’s development strategy, which will allow to combine the potential of two insurance brokers active on the Polish market, offering mutually complementary range of services. Thanks to the acquisition of the Poznań-based company’s shares, the investor also strengthen its position in the Greater Poland market.
